Foundation Scholarships for 2020 - $91,200

 

On August 5, 2020, the Rotary Club of Colonial Park Foundation awarded eighteen scholarships totaling $63,000 to high school seniors from Dauphin County Technical School, Bishop McDevitt High School, Harrisburg Christian School, Central Dauphin East High School and Central Dauphin High School.  In addition, through Rotary Club of Colonial Park Foundation funds at Harrisburg Area Community College, fifteen scholarships in the amount of $15,000 were awarded to students, six $1,000 Paramedic scholarships and $7,200 for four fire departments in our area to conduct one eight hour “live burn training session” at the HACC fire training course.  The HACC scholarships of $28,200 plus the high school senior scholarships total $91,200 in scholarships for 2020.

 

Total scholarships given out by the Rotary Club since the program started is 532,908 plus the community organizations funding we provide over the years the total of funds given is $754,808.  A remarkable amount of money raised and distributed by the Rotary Club of Colonial Park Foundation and the Rotary Club of Colonial Park.
