Rotary Club of Colonial Park Foundation Announces Programs Funded At HACC
Rotary Club of Colonial Park Fire Training Live Burn Fund
Live-burn training sessions will be offered at Harrisburg Area Community College when the college reopens from the coronavirus situation. The structural burn session is required for all active firefighters and is a great opportunity to gain and enhance knowledge. Crews practice different scenarios such as basement fires and attic fires. Teams rotate assignments from one scenario to the next so that everyone has the opportunity to practice multiple roles.
The following fire companies in our area that will benefit from this funding for one eight hour day for all the fireman in their company are:
- Colonial Park Fire Company
- Linglestown Fire Company
- Paxtonia Fire Company
- West Hanover Fire Company
